Shutdown the processes that listen to your port

For those who the problem don't work, try use a firewall to detect the used ports
and kill the process that use your port (eg. 80 / HTTP)

Skype for example use the HTTP/80 port, and if you open skype first, than apache may not start (if listen the port 80)

Apache socket conflict solved

Thank you vey much.

I solved the problem by setting:

Listen 8080

in httpd.conf (and of course ussing the URL address: http://localhost:8080) and it worked!

I appreciate this topic is marked as "SOLVED" but the correct reason for port 80 not working will more than likely be that IIS is installed and you will need to stop the process.

I have had simuilar problems as ppl that posted on this topic had, but after I have fixed my problems with apache etc. and done everything, I try to log in to my server by username: admin Password : admin and it shows me this...

Have I done something wrong? it's 3.3.5 version of WoW maybe I have used outdated repacks, so if that may be the case ,can some1 post a links...

skype was the problem

I solve this disabling the port 80 and 443 for incoming conections in menu tool -> options, in conection seccion.
