How to communicating with Infered Reader Device connected to PS/2 port

Hi
I have got Infered Reader Device connected to my PC through PS/2 Port, Now I want to communicate with it , can one tell me how to do that using VB.Net. I never done such exercise before. I hope you all understand my problem.
