• Strong caution before using this SW

  This product failed seriously in uploading large files, which were truncated to sizes of less than 1MB. There is no contact information for technical support other than an e-mail on which responses arrive most often in 24 hour intervals. Most often the responses are guesses in fiddling with PHP parameters. If their suggestions do not work, you are being told that it's something to do with your particular PHP configuration. Alternatively, they want full access to your installation in order to fix the installation. This may mean access to the contents of your repository. There also are security vulnerabilities posted on the web, and the upload problems have been confirmed by other customers on their web sites.

  Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

  I needed a web based file upload service for my company and decided to go with Afian after much trepidation. I'm so pleased I did now! There were a few issues getting it up and running which was purely down to my web host so I e-mailed Afian Tech Support; I allowed FTP acces and they sorted the problem immediately! I then had a different problem with the php.ini file so I e-mailed Tech Support again; they sorted the problem immediately! If you have doubts about using Afian then put them to one side as the product does exactly what it's meant to do and the service team at Afian are ultra efficient!   I have used other php/mysql file management scripts this one is by far the best. Everything the developers website claims works amazingly. The support has been top notch with response times as fast as 5 minutes. Don't hesitate, this script is really awesome! This met and exceeded the clients needs.

  Very happy indeed with the product. It does everything i need and more. Additionally the customer service is great. The team react immediately to any queries and therefore i have ended up reselling the service to more of my clients. Well done Afian.

• Simple, Dependable, and Very Elegant

  We needed to provide our customers with a secure access area that would allow them to review, collaborate, and even submit sensitive project data. Above all else, the system needed to be simple enough that our less-technically inclined customers could easily navigate it; and dependable enough to operate with minimal operator influence. Afian delivered in spades on every point, and it was priced well below many less-elegant alternatives. We couldn’t be happier and our customers love it!
