AJAX DHTML Sorted Grid

Asynchronously loads a sortable DHTML Data Grid from an XML data source as a static XML file with AJAX. The static file call depends on an off site data generator such as a SQL Stored Procedure/Process to produce XML files in a particular and commonly used XML format. There is no requirement to connect to a database or make CGI/REST or Web Service calls. Files can be published anywhere and loaded to the web server with secure FTP. The grid itself is a custom DHTML grid compatible with Firefox and IE. The code is delivered back to it as XML, then converted to Javascript objects for easy sorting at the individual column level with no additional server round trips -- a particular problem in multi tier systems.
