I would like to say the almond classified script is very good because of its usability and simplicity. Easy to install and customisation can be done easily. I bought almond pro in 2006 and I requested some files as the script was being updated in 2008. Upon my request the company sent me the latest version of the script. I am very thankful to them for offering support to their valuable customers. Very few mysql tables required to make it simple and robust. Full instructions provided. irfan

I just recently upgraded my site to new release 5v7 that supports embeded code from youtube and other video servers. Been running on my site for more than 2 years without any issues. I've been using Almond Classifieds Pro-edition for over 2 years on my site. It delivers the things it advertises. Easy to install. My users find it convenient for simple use loading pictures or wav files. When I've been in need to change something their tech support its been outstanding. As a matter of fact I was one of the first people using their banner module which has worked very well for me. Now I'm planning on getting the the maps module. I do recommend this reliable application. Thanks!

As got to be Almond Clasifieds Pro Script. The Network Eddition Is AWSOME. Profesionaly written by seasoned experts these scripts take a lot of beating. I havent actually seen another ad script this good. Lots of add ons and functionality. Easy to install, configure and edit. We got the template version of Almond Pro 5. Setting up needed a bit of work initially but support was very good. The script loads very fast and has nice features like the pop-up preview when mousing over an ad, and country and city selection. Also like the fact that users need not create an account before posting.

Might be a good script but very hard to install. Requires high level of programmer skill. Otherwise you are wasting your times. 9 pages of instructions, but poorly written. Had to give up.

This is an excellent authoring of PHP script. I had no experience with PHP. The script took time to learn but was worth the effort. Intermediate skills necessary. I recommend the html templates addition. We purchased the Pay Pal and Banner Module. They both work great. We did have some questions and issues but they gave us excellent email support with a usual 24 hour turn around. I am not disappointed in any way with this script. We look forward to running it into high numbers.

Looks like I don't need to say anything because so many people have already said this script it good, and I would agree. It's fast and easy to use. It behaves how you would expect it to behave. Modifying it can be a little tricky at first but once you've learned how the code is set out and how it's split up into files, its really easy to know what to do and where to do it. Also I had great support from the team (Bo) when I needed help with something. Works out of the box and easy to extend.

I was very happy to come across Almond Classifieds. I looked at a lot of classified programs, many were much more expensive. The simplified version was exactly what I was looking for and it was easy for me to install. Unfortunately, I paid $45.00 for a script that claimed to be easy to setup and use. Don't believe it. This script you must setup all the categories, and everything else, thru a config file. You setup categories in arrays, and good luck figuring it out. If you are a php whiz you'll love this, otherwise RUN and save your money for a good script that really is easy to setup and use!

I have found this script one of the easiest to install and adjust to merge seamlessly with an existing website. (A big advantage as websites often have to be built around the chosen script.) I had a small problem when transferring my website to another server. An email to the author resulted in a quick concise response and I was up and running again within minutes. This is a great script. You can make it as simple or as elaborant as you want. Use a good editor like Ace HTML and you're all set. Contains all the instructions that you need. Read them all very carefully! Support is better than most.

This is an excellent script, very customizable, and adaptable to any web site. If you run into a technical problem, not to worry. The support is exceptional; fast and easy to understand. What an intelligent conception! I did not find among any competitor the equivalent in flexibility and power. You can define everything in layout. Fields you create become database colums, automatically. Display, quickness and comfort for the users for posting and reading, they can filter (in cascade) ads on any of the categories. This is nowhere else to be found too.. Really good work and clean cut conception for less than 200 USD. I am really happy with this purchase and warmly reccommend it.

I have used many Classifieds scripts and Almond is the best. It's a simple set of scripts so it is very easy to "tweak" for my own application. Despite its simplicity, though, it is an excellent system. It does everything I need at my site, including posting photos, charging for ads, sending email, and other such tasks. Its a great script and I like the fact it is mysql and that I can create all the field names I need. Just make sure you plan out ALL your fields before you go live, because if you have to recreate tables you loose existing data. So plan a head. But over all the script is GREAT! and I love it! tho the script is still in HTML 4.0 but its very easy to set up and run .. really clean coding and simple database .. I just wish they put more documentation in how to edit or create skins and themes .. other than that its great and simple and easy to set up .. good work folks :)

I test many others scripts in perl and PHP. Aldmonds Classifields is the most simple and complet script. This script is very simple configuration and has many free upgrades. I Need my site whith many features in very small time. The script has sample of configuration and complete instructions. I no need know PHP for configurate the script. I need the hosting with PHP and My sql features. The price is very small if you compare with other packages whith similars features. In the firs time I test the free version, and after deside buy the full version of Almonds Classifieds, in this time I very interested in upgrade my version with the e-commerce version.

I tried out about a half dozen packages before settling on Almond Classifieds. I liked the look of it and the layout compared to the others. Additionally the script is written understandably enough that I felt I could make minor modifications if needed for my site. I like the "flyover window" ad display very much. While setting up categories is done manually in the config file, rather than in the admin interface, the setup is logical and I was able to switch from the default categories to those I needed within the first half hour of having the script. Support has been quite responsive and helpful. All in all I think this is the best package for my site.

I was very impressed with this software. I know absolutely nothing about php scripting. The instructions were very easy to follow once I had studied them for a while and took them step by step and in fact all the answers are there in the readme file. You just have to make sure you read it carefully. I did email their support once or twice with the trial version and they pointed me in the right direction. Once I had the full version the support was excellent. Having looked and tried several other methods of setting up a classifieds site I believe I have ended up with the best software around for complete all roundness and the price is very competitive.
