This tutorial is the ABSOLUTE BEST out there. I have downloaded every autoinstaller available and none have taught me as much as this tutorial. I easily installed Apache, PHP, MySQL, phpMySQL, and MySQLcc in about 30 minutes while having a cup of coffee in the local cafe. If you don't know what you're doing (like me), read this tutorial, follow it word for word and you will be up and running in no time flat. Thanks a million for taking the time to write this fantastic tutorial. A+

OK, I've been jerking around for over 2 weeks trying to follow a zillion tutorials on PHP/APACHE/MySQL and every one I found could walk me through one part of set up, but assumed I had everything else installed and that I knew what the heck I was doing. Nope, not me. For instance, one beginner tutorial told me I could just configure the php.ini file "any way I wanted." And that was it. Well what do I know about what I want? I'm brand new for crying out loud! But then I found this article. Finally someone understands that some of us don't understand. If anyone needs a step by step, hand held every keystroke kind of tutorial, this is it. The only error I could find was that I don't like cookie dough ice cream that much, so I changed the variable to chocolate. Whoo-hoo! Thank you XFAITH. I feel so much less ignorant tonight.

This is an excellent tutorial. The steps are all clearly written, and in plain english. You did an excellent job walking a non-developer through the process, and it worked the first time. Thank you very much!
