AVirCAP (aka CodeRed & Ninda Hunter)

AVirCAP 2.0 (also known as CODERED Hunter) is a package designed to monitor the network for CodeRed and NIMDA type of activities. It is possible to set up several servers and have a central report repository that collects all reports. Now Supporting Reports by EMAIL, ON-Screen, CSV files uploaded to FTP and pure SQL reporting. You can get extensive in depth reports about each and every offending host. AVirCAP is designed with huge corporate networks in mind which concist of several subnets and where the need of several monitor activity reports are gathered into one place. It's possible to modify AVirCAP to monitor for other activities as well. The heart of the system is built with Apache 1.3.20, MySQL 3.23.32 and PHP 4.0.6. In common with PHP-triad it's usable as a developer platform as well.
