Basic PHP Events Lister is a simple script that displays events in a list format, instead of a full calendar. You have the option to display everything on one page, or you can just show summaries that link though to individual event pages. A few of the main features are: Easy 5 minute setup (Just edit one configuration file, upload everything to your server and run the setup script), Automatically displays only upcoming events (unless otherwise configured), Full password protected management area, with the ability to add, edit, copy and delete events., Password recovery system and it accepts HTML in the description field. Version 2.0 adds additional security, a user management area, starting and ending dates for events and more.

    Largely using it for an event listener, but also for a newsfeed for a select group of viewers. It is easy for my clients to use and maintain so I don't have to! Support is also very responsive!

    I installed this very quickly. Then had trouble that I thought was in the script. So I sent an email to Mark not really expecting a reply since this is a free script. To my supprise I not only got a reply but got it within an hour of sending it. It turned out that it was a problem with my server not the script but Mark was great and helped me get my server problem fixed and now I love this script just what I was lookin for.
    Thanks guys great job.

    Got it running fast. No problems. Does what it says. Could use a datepicker, for choosing events dates, but other than that, it's great!

    Events Lister is an awesome application for creating lists of events with lots of functionality and information. After I had the program up and running I 'broke' it on some customized pages. I was surprised when I received a response back to my email for support within seemingly minutes. The developer was quick to assist and pinpoint the errors of my ways getting me back up and running almost instantly. Highly recommended!

    I downloaded and installed the lister and it was just the right thing I was looking for, love the simplicity and it's comfort to use. Very customizable and the author gives great support when needed. It's a great script BUT it does lack some functions people might want to have, but I was told this is going to be updated in the new release, so that's perfect. If your seeking for a easy, well build script and does what it's intended for? Then this is the right script to download!
