Build A Niche Store, or BANS as they call it, has not been updated in years. EBay has long since changed their categories around, removed some, added others, etc.. and the developers of bans have not bothered to update BANS. They have closed down their user support forums, so you won't see all the bad things their paid members were saying. The developers should be ashamed for selling this product without taking the time to fix it. Don't waste your money on this script. In fact, I would suggest you never spend money on any script unless they have an active support forum. Trust me when I say there are some really great eBay affiliate scripts out there. I've tried most of them. This one used to be among the best, but that was a long, long time ago. It's no good anymore.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I wasn't so sure I wanted to take the plunge ($97) for the package, but I did. After installing it, and going quickly through the manual, I was able to create a site very quickly and easily. The interface is really easy (if you already know about ftp and setting up databases). Pages are so easy to create it really is addicting. This is a really worthwhile piece of software (if you want to create Ebay affiliate pages). My site (with little to no mods) is http://www.cuppa-java.com .
