Chipmunk Forum is a small yet flexible and fully featured forum system. It has unlimited categories and forums, staff only forums, read only forums, 4 levels of permissions. Smilies, word filters, BBcode, Ip banning,flood protection, e-mail ban from registration, and displays number of users online. Chipmunk board also has a simple template engine allowing users to choose which template of yours they want to use. Chipmunk forum makes posting complicated formatting posts earlier now with the integration of a WYSIWYG editor.

    Poorly constructed code. No separation of PHP vs HTML. Bottom of the index.php file has links to casino and credit card spam sites.

    Lacks a good install script. You have to manually add the tables in the dB. Poor instructions on what need to be done to connect tho the dB.. It has you add the standard info, but when you look in the connect.php file there is no "database name" it is marked as "database password". Kind of throws you off if your not looking. I didn't waste my time getting it to work.
