CSS Compressor

This php class library can be used to compress css files of your page before output. It can merge multiple css files into one to reduce number of http request. It will remove all whitespace and comments from the merged css file to reduce file size. Optionally it can also create gzip the output file to dramatically compress the size of css file to be transfered over network. My test compresed 30 kb css files into only 4.5 kb by saving over 85% of bandwidth. Pitfall is it increases cpu processing. So caching must be used to reduce the server load.
