I am an absolute novice to Perl/CGI but needed to read from a database exported from Microsoft Access that is used for defining Classes that a Music competitor enters. CSV read does the job and was straightforward to implement and worked first time! Excellent great script.
I have no experience with CGI and when I was asked to create a database for a charity web site I needed to find some custom scripts. I searched the web and I tried numerous scripts and then I came across the CSV range. I must say that I am highly delighted with these scripts. They are user friendly and very easy to configure, especially for the user that has little or no programming experience. I would recommend these scripts to new users.
I have only used the basic scripts and have found them to be very useful, and am putting them into service on my website. Already they have opened up new features to make my website look very professional - and have meant I already want to use features from the "Xtra" versions
