After installing ioncube I realised the main php file is encrypted and so no one really knows what the code for it is and one can only guess it which makes me look for something open which I can fully tweak. I gives a deprecated error in PHP 5.3 for a function so needs some upgrading. Overall it seems a good tool which offers a lot of information but I'm still looking for an open source alternative.
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
