phpWebFTP offers a way of connecting to you FTP server, even when you are behind a firewall or proxy not allowing traffic to FTP servers. This is very common in business networks. phpWebFTP overcomes this issue by making a FTP connection from your webserver to your FTP server and transfering the files from this web server to your webclient over the standard http protocol. phpWebFTP is free software and the source is available under GNU license.

    It's like I was using a commercial or paid script, it worked perfectly for me, just uploaded all the files into my shared hosting space and started uploading the files. Great tool, suggesting !

    This script is quick and easy to configure and really requires no configuration at all. Simply load into any directory. Navigate to that directory, log in using your FTP usr/pwd, and you're in. This would be good if you were to have non-web savvy clients log in with their own FTP account and have access to those permissions. Otherwise, FTP is easier.
