GeekLog is the best! It has many options. I'm running a GeekLog with forum, journal, and bookmarks plugins. It's powerful with these plugins. Take a LOOK!

This is the most versatile, easiest, and best looking portal PHP I have ever seen. Tweak a config.php and a few other settings, create a database on MYSQL, change the logo and you are up and running. Terrific support and a great community. A+++

This is an excellent product. After spending weeks installing, tinkering, configuring, and recoding various weblogs (ranging from PHPWebSite to PHPNuke), I was ready to start developing my own. On this bend, I tried geeklog, thinking I could use it as a springboard into my own product. Well, I didn't need to. It's secure, it's modular, it's well thought out, a breeze to use and admin, and has an excellent community of developers behind the scenes. Do yourself a favour, and give it a try.

Took a while to locate GeekLog in the beginning. Fumbling around the darkness of Slashcode and PHP-Nuke I finally saw light at the end of a frustrating tunnel! (Yeah, that should paint you a nice picture!) After a quick, straightforward and painless installation of GeekLog I soon realized what is so great about this system! It's fast, it's secure and it's easy to customize! Personalizing this system is a breeze! Any serious webmaster with PHP/MySQL capabilities on their site should go with GeekLog by default!!! I especially liked the encryption of user passwords and the password retrieval generating new passwords on the fly. This is great security for users of my site. You can see a highly customized GeekLog running http://www.falkware.com ... Let me add that I'm not even a programmer and my PHP skills are downright ridiculous! :)
