Very impressive product for the price. Setup was easy and administration is a breeze. It's everything that a user would need for a public event calendar. What makes this product stand out for me is the amount of customizing that your can do with the product. Every visual element is in CSS. This makes it really easy to change the look of the calendar to match your website with great results. The features are not too shabby either. Now with the bargain price of $149 (USD) I thought that I would get a product and if I had any problems or questions I would be on my own. So not the case. I have had a need to contact them on multiple instances (the problems created by my stupidity and lack of experience) and each time I've not been disappointed. To contact support is exactly how I would want it to be, no phone calls, no hold music, no person trying to understand what I'm saying. A simple support ticket submitted through the refresh support site with the URL and description of the problem and within a short amount of time I get an email back with exactly the answer I needed. The email never tells you to visit a FAQ page or other method of not answering the question. The email is always someone that is very familiar with the product and can deliver a clear explanation on how to fix the problem. I highly recommend this software to anyone, it's well worth it's money for what you get. The product IMO is a bargain at 150 for the amount of development time it would take you on your own to get this level of quality user interface. Not to mention the excellent team of support that stand behind their product.

Easy to install and customize. Customer service was fast and courteous (solving a problem that stemmed from my own lack of experience). Before installing Helios Calendar I was posting my schedule of events on my iCal, plus several forums and blogs. Now I will only post one time on my Helios Calendar. Posts in other places is automatic - using an iCal subscription, Helios generated calendar javascript and a Wordpress widget created with the javascript. Love this product.

The Script itself is perfect if you are using it in English, but I need to use it in other languages. I cannot because the most important feature is not working (RSS).Purchased, installed, but RSS won’t work with other languages. Their web site is saying that it supports multi language. It turns out it is not… Then they sent me files to upload to fix this problem. I did three times and none of them fix it. Then they stop answering my emails and ended my support calls. Great script isn’t it

After having used several plugins for wordpress to create a calender. I now realize that plugins were the wrong approach. I needed something way more robust and this software is certainly that. In setting it up the options seem endless and the support thus far has been great. Thanks for the solution to my event calendar problem!

I went with Helios Calendar after trying out a few other web calendar applications on the market. Helios Calendar is far superior, no contest. It is unbelievably easy to install/configure, highly customizable, and comes with every possible feature you could want in a web application. The price is very fair, the documentation is well written, and customer support is shockingly superb. Really, I cannot find a single thing to complain about Helios Calendar. HELIOS IS AWESOME!

This is the best Calendar script online. Very easy to install and customize and loads pages very fast. Has all the features such as RSS feeds, Maps, Social bookmarking links, Send to a friend option and much more. The ease of import into other calendar programs (Outlook, iCal, etc) as well as the rss features make it an outstanding choice.

Cannot say enough about the Helios Calendar. We have over 50,000+ events listed and this program works like a charm. Tech Support is fantastic and they helped us even with the smallest issues. Very easy to customize and very fast. Program is worth a heck a lot more than what they are charging for! We tried most of the other calendar programs that were listed and Helios is by far the best!

I have tried many calendaring/event scripts. Helios is worth the money. If you want a flexible proggie that is intuitive, and easy-to-use for end-users, this is the best! Features work the way they supposed to. It is assumed you know how to create a database and grant permissions from your host's control panel. If you run into trouble, though, the author will bail you out. Skinning is still a little inflexible, so keep track of what mods you make when there is an upgrade !!
