  • I don't really understand why everyone has an issue but I had a great experience. There was a new version released recently so that may have something to do with it, but this cart was just what I was looking for. Not only was it affordable, but here are so many advanced features and options available. Shipping, payment, customizable.... PLUS... I didn't want to use sites like shopify or bigcommerce once I investigated more. They seemed good, but I was looking for an opensource product that I could host on my own and this was a huge limitation. Eventually, you have to move your hosting account off of those. And if I change my mind later I can always have my own designer work on it. I did not want to deal with major issues once my site was up and running. Long term, it was just a better fit because it offers so much freedom and flexibility to really have my OWN site and host where I want at ONE affordable charge. The staff was great and so was the support. They only took a day to get back to me by email to answer my questions. I am also looking into them creating a facebook app for me which would be REALLY exciting!

  • I really don't have time to write reviews. I am a mom of 4 kids that also happens to be good at developing websites. But, after what I went through with this company, I am sitting up at 1 a.m. to actually take the time to write this review. I will give you the highlights. 1. On the canned, FAQ page that comes with the shipped program, there is was a link to a url that did not exist - to a file path that did not even ship with the program. I contacted support and they suggested that I 'customize the page to my liking', with no mention of the fact that they shipped it with a flagrant error. 2. no provision to be able to print orders or reports. 3. Contacted online chat one night asking about automated shipping labels. The man in India had no idea what a usps API was. 4. Also had no idea what real time shipping quotes meant. Maybe it was a language barrier. 5. asked for a refund - website says they will refund the money - no questions asked. I filled out the form online, and then got an email informing me that they could do 'customizatoin' to meet my needs. I declined and asked for my refund. Then got an email offering me a discount on other iscripts products. Declined that and called the office. Office said to contact online chat. Online chat said to contact the office. AND - no questions asked? Really? The 'chat' guy said I have to fill out a THREE PAGE QUESTIONNAIRE and fax it to a LONG DISTANCE phone number and THEN they'll give me my money back. What happened to no questions asked? Its none of their business what I decided to do instead of their cart. Overall, I just didnt feel comfortable trusting people's financial transactions on a package that had these issues. 8/19 Update: As of today, ten days later, the company has yet to contact me or respond to any of my numerous requests for a refund even though I faxed in the THREE PAGE form that they required. I called the office and was told by 'Jon' that I could not speak to the person that handles refunds. I was told by 'Peter' in online chat that I should contact the office. Seriously people, you really need to think twice before using this one. If you decide it is not for you, more than likely you've kissed your money goodbye. Ive filed a complaint with the BBB and with Internet Crime; hopefully one of these will get someone's attention enough to get them to give me back my simple $177.

  • (Update 8/22) Sandra; We're sorry that you had the above problems with our product. The cause of the problem was the refund form. On it, we need your commitment to remove the software from your server with your signature. Your delay in returning it also delayed your refund. Also, stop calling and yelling at our operators to speak to the accounting department. We understand you are upset, but acting in that manner does not help the situation. Also, please see the comments below. 1. While there may have been an error on the stock FAQ page, it is a feature in our software that you are able to edit the entire contents of that page as you would like. Our support simply pointed this out for you as the easiest way to correct our error. 2. We're sorry that our software did not include every feature you had hoped. We strive to meet the needs of our clients, but we overlooked the need to place a "print" button on our software besides the basic "Ctrl + P" or browser Print function. 3. If you did not get an appropriate answer from our Live Chat, you are always welcome to contact Jon, our Sales Manager, at 800.569.5538. 4. Please do not fault our support staff for not understanding every term. Again, you are free to contact Jon at your convenience. 5. At iScripts.com, we are very proud to go the extra mile and ask if you need help. If you do, we support you for a full year as part of our commitment to our software. Also, many customers buy the wrong software and ask for a switch. We are happy to do this as well. Again, we only have our customers best interests in mind and hope that you are able to find a company that can meet your needs.

  • I bought this software so I can begin making a site with my partner Terry for products made in Michigan. The support has been great. In addition to the site, we have purchased SEO work and design work from the iScripts team. They have helped us with every detail we could ask of them and they have never refused us anything. Thanks again to the support guy Alfred on the live chat and Lauren at the office for taking all my calls!

  • Been in software industry for over 20 years... purchased one of their products about a year ago... a little dissapointed with obvious issues like an email field with only 20 char... but it was cheap, so I ignored it. Purchased new product recently, bug ridden, horrible design and code. Told me I'd get a refund, completed all requirements, form etc... which of course is just a delay tactic in my opinion. Months later, still no refund, they've stopped responding to me. As far as I'm concerned this is a criminal organization.

  • iscripts are crooks, don't believe in the money back guarantee because they use that to get your money and never intent to honor it. They were terrible as far as customer support, they always state it's your fault but then they use that to get more money out of you. BEWARE OF THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY.
