Javascript RSS Reader

Display a RSS feed on your site using Javascript. It makes more sense creating a script like this using a server-side language like PHP/ASP/.Net but if you're looking at creating an ajax-like RSS reader, this is a good place to start. Please read the documentation on firefox users, included with the download

  • I found an article that explains how to optionally load the xmlDoc using XMLHttpRequest. Looks like the example is based on this very script. http://www.webdeveloper.c om/forum/archive/index.ph p/t-147548.html Don't forget to make a local version of the rss available using perl or php so FF can render it. The script will be a 5 if it's fixed. I'm having my client update their news sidebar by posting to a blog. No more hand-rolled micro content management systems...YAY! Thanks Christoff.

  • Hi there, thank you for the review, can you explain how to get a 5 from you? hehe, support for Safari?
