Kure is a simple and portable blogging engine written in PHP. It is completely flat-file; no database systems are required. Posts are stored in individual text files with little formatting -- the filename is the post name and the file contents is the post content. Uploading posts is easy to do via FTP because of this. Kure sports a plugin engine and a templating engine.
