From templating to tweaking, LDU is the next best Collaborative CMS for companies wanting an effective software either used as an extra/intranet or just as a plain CMS. LDU...What else can I say, other than it's the most remarkable CMS I've ever encountered. I started using LDU back in the 50x series and ever since then, it has increased its usability and community 10 fold. I use this CMS on a my personal site, and I code "plugins" for the community. It is because of this system that I learned PHP, and met some amazing people. This CMS is so easy to use, it's potential is astronomical, and it's vesatile! I recommend this CMS to even the newest webmaster!

Now this is the best content management system out right now. It is full featured and highly customizable. I have no idea why it hasn't sparked any more interest above PHP-NUKE and taken the crown. While it is the best out at the moment it is still very generic with it's options and fails to target any specific group of the web. I gave it a 4 for that very reason. It loads very fast runs smoothly hardly any errors, but it is hard to customize for a new user. I recommend anyone to use this..

I give LDU the full score, as I believe it is truly the best CMS around. The support on the forums is great, any question will be answered quickly. I've used it for 4 months now and I haven't had any complains about it. The skinning of LDU is really easy. If you can create a normal, non-php website, you can skin ldu too. I have hardly any php knowledge and still I've made 3 skins already and I working on 2 more. It is so great I have 4 websites using it. For gaming clans this is a must-have...

Installing LDU is the finest decision I ever made. LDU proves to beat all other CMS hands down, in terms of flexibility and faster learning curve. What I love most about it is the authentication system that make it so easy assigning user levels to different pages.But the best part is it's truly easy to customize the look of your site.In fact anyway you want it!I've tried all big-names in CMS, but nothing really come close to LDU's simple yet powerful system. Land Down Under is an exceptional CMS, ive used php-nuke and other CMS systems before this is by far the most reliable and customisable CMS i have used. The support and help from the community in their forums is second to non speedy help and advice on any aspect of the CMS. Even with little knowledge of PHP/Html you can customise with ease, the speed and running of the system is by far the best I have ever used.

This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything on the net in 7 years. I'm just an old lady but I know what I like and I like Ldu over all the cmo's I have tried. In fact I bought a license and services, and on my meager income that is saying alot. I had some trouble installing it but nothing that wasn't immediately rectified by the help I got from Ldu users. What can I say I love it.

Land Down Under is by far the best CMS out there! The ability to expand on this CMS with ease and the fexibility of the template files is fantastic! If your using Post-Nuke, PHP-Nuke, or any other CMS software you dont know what your missing by not using LDU!

LDU is seriously one of th best CMS/Portal systems out there. It is leaving any Nuke program in it's dust. Since I discovered LDU a year ago, I've been able to implement many php database driven sites using this product with ease. The learning curve is almost nothing. It has a very good/ and helpfull user community, something that others really lag. Design, implementation and modification is easy and is even becoming fun. The strength of the product is that its a CMS and Portal in one, a winner!

I was never really interested in PHP until I was introduced to LDU. LDU has gained my interest in programming, scripting plug-ins, and developing skins. When I first started playing around on the internet I had no idea how big sites like zdnet managed their content, then I was introduced to some 'Content Management Systems' such as Post Nuke and PHP Nuke. After a few weeks of using these systems I began to tire of the way they work, feel and the lack of intergration. It took some hors of browsing through the hotscripts directory to find a cms that worked, when I finnaly found one it was called 'Land Down Under'. After downloading v501 I was amazed at how it works and decided it was good enough to use on my website. This is one fantastic pice of software that takes the medal over all other 'nuke' content management systems, not to mention news scripts and guest books stuck together to form a web site! Good job LDU!

LAND DOWN UNDER is a great Content Managment System as it allows almost endless possibilities. As an admin you can post commentable news wich could be shown as heeadlines so you dont have to scroll so much. Also it has a great security coverage and with the last security patch possibly the safest CMS you can find on the web. Also there is also built-in forums with the function that most dont have- a forum images function (that means each forum has its own folder image wich describes it better). I must not forget the calendar as it automaticly fetches and marks the events you have posted. Also there are articles and private area. We must not forget the links. All these can have categories. There is a built in Flag mod with possibly all the worlds flags. Oh, I forgot about the gallery. Yes! It contains a superb gallery. It works on a PFS (Personal File Space) wich can be set to any given size by that limiting the users not to upload to much and saving your server space. U can set up to 58 user levels and to each user level you can set privilegies what a user with that level is able to see. Mods/Hacks are easily installed and some of them only need to be uploaded and/or modifying a file or two. Currently there are two supporting communities forming - one for the themes creatin and one for the mods/hacks creation.
