Possibly somewhere between poor and fair really. I am so frustrated with problems with the software and really annoyed with a lack of response to my questions via the support forum. A couple of questions did get answered, which I appreciate, but now nothing. I want my money back and then use anything else instead as I feel really cheated. I want to know why the static page error comes up via admin or regular user for a start. I saw that a few people had problems with the licence expiring after 2 months on the paid version. Why? Will this happen to me too? I have spent 4 weeks not being able to really get the site together due to the errors displaying and trying to fathom the pricing structures. Videos and pdf help, absolutely useless. Steve seems abrupt and rude lately and uninterested now the money has been coughed up. Is this an accurate assessment? If my questions can be answered effectively on the forum and not left day after day, as well as other people's too, I may be able to convinced this Noah's site is actually run genuinely and as good as you all tout it to be. Jane
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This software might have ended 2008 as a great script but when the lead programmer walked out in Q1 2009, it's been all downhill - the current release (and all releases during 2009) are riddled with issues that will prevent most people from trusting it as the foundation for a commercial (charge for listings) site. It should be fine for "free" sites. Before you buy this software, ask the owner for access to the owners forum so you can get a sense of the multiple issues users are facing. Keep an eye on the 'bug tracker' as well. If he refuses access, ask him why and if he won't let you in, take that as a sign that he's trying to conceal something. Several of the claims on his home page are simply not true - you CAN'T have unlimited categories and it DOESN'T play nice with Joomla to mention 2. Believe me, there are more.

I was initially very excited about Noah's new V8 program. It seems to have a lot of good features, and is fairly easy to use. The problem is unless you're 100% certain the program is just what you need, you'll lose at least $90 trying it out. They don't have any kind of refund policy, and if you buy it and install it, and it doesn't work out for you, you're left holding the bag. Many other server software vendors I've used have at least a 30 day review and return policy. Wish these guys did.
