PclZip library offers compression and extraction functions for Zip formatted archives (WinZip, PKZIP). PclZip gives you the ability to manipulate zip formatted arhives. You can create an archive, list the content and extract all its content in the file system. Lots of aoptional parameters are available to extract with filters, remove or add additional directory path, ... PclZip defines an object class which represent a Zip Archive. This class manages the archive properties and offers access method and actions on the archive.

    I have been using PCLZip for a couple of years now and it's been excellent. I would recommend it to anyone who requires an easy to use class to manage archives.
