I like the way it works, it's simple to add links for tracking, also to implement the addon script. One thing I could suggest for future release, would be a more developed statistics tool, like that we could track by month, day and so on, to see how much have been downloaded recently, compared to last time we checked. It would be a plus as I said, cause it works already very nicely. Thanks!

This is one of the better scripts I've installed. It is reliable and was easy to install and does as advertised. It would be over the top if there was a way to break down the clicks by date range. Because it just keeps track of the total (unless you diligently reset the counter on a regular basis) there is no way to track if you clicks are growing. Thanks for the script - it is definitely a good one.

I have used Ccount v1.1 for some while now and looked forward to the updated version, With version 1.2 one can now edit links and not just reset the counters to zero, but you can now start the counter from any point. version 1.2 is well worth updating!

I was looking for a link counter to keep track of the times the links were used on my links page, and this one was simply PERFECT. Extremely easy to install and even easier to use. How simple this script is to install. Once installed, how easy it is to use and remarkably effective too. A delight to employ. Suggestions for future releases would include the ability to have link categories so that I could monitor specific 'grouped' links, and some sort of edit provision for when I make a mistake adding a URL to the system, although it's easy enough to edit the .txt file that keeps the said data. Easy to use and extremely useful. Thanks to the author of this script.

Simple to install, informative password protected admin panel. Custom links replace existing links, so when clicked on, the counter script keeps track! You can monitor the details via the admin panel or place link counters on the corresponding pages, or as I have done created a statistics page with a collated view of all hits. Using this script means users are more inclined to click links if they see others have already, sort of inspires a confidence. Keep up the good work!

I have spent the last few days looking for a script like this to monitor opening rates and clicks from my html newsletters. I use notonebit.com simple mailing list to send them and it does not include tracking. I considered upgrading to phplist but it is far too complicated for what I need. I even tried using Google Analytics, but some email clients block Javascript. I downloaded this script and had it working in 20 minutes. Brilliant!

Ecellent script. Very simple to install and use. Download it and start counting the clicks in less than 5 minutes. Feature request - Wish if there was an option to track the IP of the visitors who all have clicked on the link .

Ccount is a PHP click counter. And a good one. It's VERY easy to use and it does the job perfectly! And the thing with me is that on my favorite server there is no SQL option so its important that Ccount uses flat-text. And more good words at the admin panel, it gives a good view at the statistics and of course it's very easy to use. Ccount is actually the reason for me signing up at Hotscripts so that I coult write that review. So thumbs up for Ccount people! 5 out of 5!

I was looking for a way to track the clicks on my site. I have a site with about 1100 photos and I wanted a way to see how many times each photo was clicked. This was exactly what I needed. Clear instructions, easy to implement. Worked immediately exactly as described on text and image links, on and off the website. Would recommend this script for someone that needs basic click counting stored in text files. I offered another script (with mysql database) to a client, but installed this one instead. Great script. Very easy to install and use and provides basic but excellent link tracking facilities. What would be nice is the facility to exclude clicks made from your own PC, maybe by using a cookie, as clicks made when testing your site contaminate the log files.

Well, not bad this script, does it hide the real link from prying eyes. Yet I am using it for a public news magazine converted to flash pages, and the onliest thing i lack is a function to track down the ip who clicked on a particular link. Maybe this would be a function for future releases? Everything else is working fine, and I can with calm consience say, it's worth downloading it.

I found this script very useful. Keeps a perfect count of all the links and I have yet to encounter a bug. The only recommendation I would have for it is to allow alphabetical id's. For example, instead of having just an id=1, allow for an id=picture.jpg or something of that nature. Another recommendation is sorting the list by date, hit count, filename, etc would also be useful. I look forward to future releases.

This script is great, installed easy, no problem at all. Only thing is that I only got it to work with links within my site, I couldn't get it to work with links going to other sites, but I probably just didn't do something right. I give it a #5 rating.
