Security Issue

I would strongly advise against paying for a script which will expose your private files to anybody. It is a very shaky script and you can see that yourself. For example, the following URL will allow you to download the script's "config.php" file: http://www.revivedwire.com/demos/File_Manager_Multi_User/inc/libfile.php?path=../&filename=config.php This is an URL from the script's demo installation. Be warned!!

I have to correct my previous review. It works with all browser in general , but if you are behind a proxy the uploadify library can't handle the authentication. If you use firefox it gets an http authentication error dues to bug in the library. With Chrome and Explorer it works also behind a proxy. The library has a bug and i'm not able to fix it. That's it.
Some problems

There's some problems with this script. First of all you have to publish the script in a directory under the apache document root: this variable is cabled in the code and there's no way to configure it, damn. I had to work on uploadify.php and check.php under upload directory to fix it. ( mail me if you want to see the mods ) The second issue is that there's no way to work with firefox browser client and i haven't fixed it yet. The code is quite simply and it not requires a lot of stuffs to work and the price is really low. The file size you can upload is a variable in the php.ini and you can increase it in contrast with the previous review ( if you have your own server of course ) that's it folks
User friendly, user access on folder level

POSITIVE: very user friendly tool. It's also possible to access rights on folder level (each user has its own folder access). NEGATIVE: very big files can not be uploaded and will not be displayed in the tool. When you upload a very big file with a ftp-client, it's not visible in this tool/script.
