PHP iRemote

The killer iTunes app that you didn’t know you couldn’t live without is here! Even better, it’s FREE! Free as in beer, not free as in speech. PHP iRemote is a set of PHP scripts that, with a properly configured PHP installation and HTTP server, allow you to control iTunes from any internet-connected or networked device (depending on server and firewall configuration). Sorry, it CAN get technical. No installer, not for the faint of heart. This scripts are optimized for cellphone screens, but will work from other computers, PSPs, DSs, iPhones, etc. This 1.3 release features play/pause, skip tracks, volume control, track ratings, auto-refreshes, album art, playlists, shuffle, repeat, and an iTunes-style search for playback of artists, albums, or specific songs. NOTE: This uses the Windows COM API for iTunes. While it may be possible to get this to work under another platform, I can’t really fathom how you’d go about doing that. You’re on your own.
