    The enuuk auction platform is written by phpAuction.net. There is only an email for contact on their website, which can be easily overlooked. There is no contact telephone number, even after the purchase. They do not seem to have any real support. The only support from them is a ticketing system, and they do not give any descent answers or solutions to any real problems that you may encounter. They claim on their site: "phpAuction has been tested under Apache*PHP*GNU/Linux. Full support is provided when phpAuction is running in the above environment. We do not accept any responsibility under other environments and cannot offer support for other environment." But this is not true. I have been setting this up, and have encountered problems, and they do not address the issues that I've encountered at all. Based in Spain, they are suppose to provide support services. After purchase, the now-anonymous and inconsistent support service is at times pretty quick, yet other times we wait for days and weeks on end for a response with no explanation as to why - including any "urgent" tickets, which falls short of their own service statements. The documentation lacks essential information and is frustrating! We are launching a new business (very delayed, thanks to the above) and naturally we are eager to see ROI and maximise opportunities. If you are considering purchasing PHPAuction’s enuuk auction platform, beware - we recommend you also find your own IT support as a backup. For the price, they need to be more consistent and professional, by delivering good software service to ALL their customers.

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    The enuuk auction platform is written by phpAuction.net - they are the people behind the original phpAuction XL software which is now free to use. Although there is only an email for contact on their website, they are a well established and reliable company - I guess no contact number is given, as although based in Spain, they use software houses in Spain and India to provide support services and programming. Enuuk is a massive improvement on the previous software, and easy for a php programmer to understand if you want to write your own modifications. The support service is low cost at $60pa, and speedy response to tickets raised (as well as being very helpful and patient). There are demo sites of the software on https://www.phpauction.net/products/enuuk-auction-platform/ and I have now implemented several auction sites running this platform, including www.sellmyretro.com and www.onlineauctioneer.ca We have also set up our own independent forums to help users and developers discuss the platform - http://www.rwapservices.co.uk/enuuk/forums/

    This is an interesting area of the on-line software market. Apparently it's one in which vendors can demand $400 to $1000 and more for their producs with absolutely no means of verifying if there's anything other than a fake email address behind any of it - no phone #s, no working demos, no way of getting a refund ... nothing. I ain't buying..

    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
