Phperl is basically Apache PHP Perl & MySQL compiled in a single package that has a setup program so you don’t have to configure any httpd.conf files. It has many additonal features like its ability to run 5 sites & comes with a fully configured Control Panel. It also includes phpMyAdmin & Hermes to turn your computer into a fully capable WebServer. Phperl is now capable of handling Apache2.

    PHPerl is pretty simple to understand, overall, but it just didn't meet my needs. The version of Apache and PHP seemed to be incompatible, as it would crash every time I attempted to run a PHP script, but overall, I'd reccomend it to anyone who is new to the web server setup thing.

    Well i'm sluggish (I guess you know that) & the script installed pretty fast (after a long download) & runs fine on both my Win 98 & 2000. The Control Panel is good but could do with some spice.
