PHPIzabi is one of the best scripts but: - U have to pay for some basic funcions that the script may have as origin. - Too much users make the site to slow to load. - Last release was almost a year ago, it has known important bugs that are not being patched. - A new release was planned to be delivered last November 2007 but 5 months after there is NO NEWS or ETA ABOUT IT. I can't recommend that script unless there's a new release, cos it seems abandoned.

In early 2007, I installed it, paid for removal of copyright (no refunds! beware!), and paid for a plug-in. I like the software! BUT, one support person went off at me in an email response. Eventually I exchanged emails with the CEO and he read my review on my blog and felt it was fair. He said the support is all volunteers, and I responded that I won't be able to get support from that team (it was evident after a weeks of no response). My rating of 2 is for great SW but NO SUPPORT!

Images are generated dynamically and you cannot change that even you chose not to watermark your pictures. A part of their code is obfuscated so you cannot change it to behave it like you like or to be able to correct this shortcoming. This script won’t hold even moderate traffic on dedicated server. Try to run a profiler on it to see how many resources are wasted and where the bigger overhead and bottlenecks come.

I have been following this project for over a year. Initial release was a good lead. Latest version plagued heavily with bugs and huge design flaws. Half the functionality is either very basic or non-functional. The people involved in the project seem more focused on making money off add on modules than fixing the core software. Installation seems to fail with most users requiring manual install. Save yourself time and frustration and go w/ something like Dolphin Smart Community Builder

I downloaded this application to give it a "test run". Though this app looks promising, there is absolutely no support for this product. Like all Newbies, I had certain questions that needed to be answered but to no avail, the knowledgebase is down, there is no documentation to be found, when searching on their forum for an answer, the search function returns a mySQL error plus none of my questions posted on the forum haven't been answered. Go see the forum and see how many 0 answers to posts.

I have browsed and checked a thousand scripts before decing on PHPizabi - Its truly feature rich - meaning profile, chat, im, mail, forum, horroscope, events, calender. What more can you expect out of a free script? And the best part is the support forum and the izabi clan there - friendly. Installation is smooth, look and feel - great, no bugs and errors if you follow the instructions properly. Capt jack Sparrow recommends the script if you are looking out for the Dead Man's Chest

Main focus of this script is dating profile but it is so much more and so well made. I have many websites and I have some that use strictly CMS, but for one of my sites I needed forum with chat. This truly is well made script that will satisfy all your needs. It has chatroom, personals profile, forum, and CMS. what more can you ask for except it make you tea and bring you your newspaper.

Having been introduced to PHPizabi in the last few weeks, I have come to know it and its capabilities quite well from a user/webmaster point of view. PHPizabi is full of rich features found only in top-end purchased scripts but PHPizabi is a free, almost fully open source script. Partially encoded with ionCube, it still allows the budding php-master to manipulate the screens and workings into a customised portal. Probably the best script of its class, soon to be un-encoded.

This is a great script that has everything you need to start your own matchmaking site. I would highly recommend checking it out before you spend a couple hundred dollars on one of those other scripts. I also disagree with the person that said you can't mod the script. Check out there website for mods that users have created.

Wow, this is a great script. I came across this while at the same time looking to purchase one. This is an evolving project and already has comparable functionality to scripts costing hundreds of dollars, and this one is free. I recommend this script to anyone looking to set up a dating or social networking site.

They have encoded the index and includes pages with ioncube for php. Now that is fine and great, but if you want to do any mods, add modules, or revise existing functionality, good luck to ya! Awesome if you're happy with what they offer out-of-the-box but not very good if you want to seriously customize. I'm afraid I have to give it a thumbs down only for the reason that you can't easily revise due to encryption. Thumbs up if you don't need any mods.

Hi all, thanks so much for your efforts of a great match maker software. I want to ask about the ability for a forum topic owner to modify his topic title and first message which are created first time upon creating the forum topic. for example, I have created a forum with a name then I found that there is a better name to it. Or I found a better approach to my topic, hince I cant't modify my topic or its title, giving that I am the owner of the topic which is loggin on the cuurent session.
