    Phplinkbid is one of the useful directory scripts out there today. It enables you to run a bidding directory where people bid to get their listing higher up in the categories. The SEO and SERP advantages for other webmasters is great. The script is now on version 1.4 with some cool addons available like link effects, pagerank checker, and advanced stats. A big plus with the software is the support and message forums. You can always find some help in the forums from your fellow webmasters.
