I have been using Fastsender for a good year now at two sites. The first one is http://TastebudsAmericanBistro.com with some 1200 subscribers. Except for initial issue not related to Fastsender and the short learning curve of the actual persons preparing and sending newsletters everything has been working flawlessly. The second site is http://BonAirPC.org with approximately 260 subscribers. Here the installation went smoothly and the learning curve was drastically reduced. As the webmaster for both sites I can say that this is the best mailing system I have seen. Fastsender is definitely worth is money considering that there are no monthly expenses to pay. The technical support is also great. Turnaround time is acceptable for my mode of operation.

Try to get your hands on a demo version first just to make sure this will work for you because the script has errors and they do not respond to help tickets for days and days and days - or they don't respond at all. So you will need to troubleshoot this program yourself. Other than that, it might work for you, you might have the exact server configuration that they programmed it for. If not, you might be out of luck and out of $88. UPDATE They finally got back to me. They sent me a new version of the program with the errors fixed. I have changed my rating from Poor to Average. I would like to select Above Average but this is not one of the options.

I do wish to pass on my thanks for your great program. it really helps me on sending monthly newsletter to my clients, the only thing that was missing in ver1 is a scheduler to be able to send messages automatically at specific dates (begining of each month in my case), now this feature is existed in version 2.0 along with more reports and charts to analyze the resuts of each compaign, updating to this new version was totally free and the support was incredible as usual.

This program was exactly what I was looking for to start a mailing campaign, in few minutes I used the editor to create a personalized newsletter with images and attachments and never faced any problem sending it to more than 2500 subscribers, the support also was great,I think separating the draft from the sent messages and ability to add the date in the newsletter would be nice feature to add, I hope you consider that soon!
