Price Tapestry is a simple PHP and MySQL price comparison script "starter kit". It provides affiliate marketers with the PHP source code framework, database schema and product feed management tools required to develop a database driven affiliate website, including basic product search and price comparison functions. Using a universal feed parsing script written by the same author, Price Tapestry is able to import products from virtually any affiliate datafeed, and automatically generates a search engine friendly merchant and product index.

    Having just purchased this script I was expecting pretty much out of the box and ready to go. Sadly this is not the case with PT. I was on shared hosting, but this script made my uploads time out very quickly, even when I was only uploading 1,000 products via csv feed. I have had to upgrade to a dedicated server. If your on low grade hosting, this script will not be for you. The admin panel hasn't even got any protection, which is a major downer as well.
