I run SMF as my forum software with TinyPortal as my front end. A combination of TinyPortal and a mod to SMF called the custom action mod (lets you make custom pages of php/html/text for your site) has given me pretty much everything I need for my site to operate how I want. There is still a minor wish list, but I am certain that I will find a way. TinyPortal has been fast and worry free since the first time I installed it with alot of great themes and friendly support.

Tiny Portal is one of the best integrations i have ever seen for any software. The combination of tiny portal and smf is all you need to be in complete control of any type of site you desire. Even more amazing, all smf mods can be added to enhance TP and SMF even more. One of my favorite combinations is TP, SMF and SMF Gallery. With TP, I can display random photos, have blocks to keep my members informed and do it all with ease. If you have SMF it is not complete without TP.

This CMS has a lot of features that you'd expect from the bigger software packages. The beauty about it is that it's a package for the SMF Forums system. There's no bridges to deal with. You can install the portal into your existing SMF forum literally with a few clicks of the mouse. Tiny portal is a brilliant portal system for the simple machine forums. Not only is it easy to install and use but also its huge colection of absolutely beautiful themes, block code snippets and continuing development makes it an exciting software.
