uPortal (microPortal)

µPortal is a lightweight, powerful personal portal to the web with Mobile web enabled devices in mind. Features include customizable modules, AJAX driven module loading with live updating, user based module layout, theme support, and more. Modules can be created to do almost anything, and can be installed by simply uploading a zip file. Standard modules included are Email (display emails from a POP3 account), Weather (get live weather for your area), RSS (display RSS feeds), Web (list your favorite bookmarks), Notes (simple online notepad), Calendar (shows holidays and user specified events), Settings (online settings editor). Comes with login capabilites (including password recovery). Other modules will be created to add new capabilities, like a Live Stock Quotes module, or an addictive dice game. Note, the script is still being developed, slated for full release soon, but beta testers are welcome and get a copy for free.
