The user can create an system by selecting the components from a toolbox, configuring the parameters (via the Javabeans framework), and connecting the components together in order to set-up communication channels between the components.

    Visualap is a nice tool to build an audio processing system. Just pick the building blocks from the palette, drop them into the working space and set the relevant parameters. After that check the connections and run the processing. Quite easy and intuitive!
