X-Affiliate add-on for X-Cart GOLD/PRO is a tool that can be used to promote your online shop. When you use X-Affiliate you have a special type of users - partners. Partners are people who place your banner on their sites. When customer clicks on your banner and enters your shop and buys something, it is tracked by affiliate software, and commissions are charged to partner as a percentage from deal or as a flat rate. So partners are interested in promoting your site, because they get money for it, i.e. they are working as your sales agents.
