  • I can agree with the previous Review that this CMS can be tricky to install. However, all you need to do is follow the simple readmeinstall.txt and it walks you right through it. Also, there is a 167 page manual on how to use Mysource. This is one of the better pieces of documentation you get with a free CMS. Got it up and running in about 30 minutes and works great! I highly recommend this script. Good Job!

  • This Content Management system is loaded! It has tons of great modules. It was easy to install and it is very fast. I would rank this CMS right up there with Mambo and Typo3.

  • Sorry guys, this CMS looks really great from the info on the website, but when it comes time to actually try and install it and actually get it going, good luck. I've been trying for weeks to get through the maze that is the matrix installation First you have to be able to get pear going and installed, if you know how to do this, good for you, if not, once again, good luck. Then you find out you have to have the latest version of mysql, which is easy to install but stuffs up any websites you're running that use databases made in earlier versions of mysql Then you have to adjust your http.conf file with aliases that stop any other site running and redirect it to the (not working) matrix cms Overall its just been a complete pain the rear end, I've tried many times now to get the thing running, but it just keeps stuffing up and taking my server with it I give it two thumbs down until they pull their heads out and do something about the horrific installation process. Never even got a chance to see if all the grief was worth it cos I couldn't get the thing running, and they don't run a live demo on their site (perhaps they couldn't get it going either)
