• Brilliant guestbook with userfriendly interface and templates!

  After trying several guestbooks, my final choice was this one, as it is both userfriendly, easy to setup and easy to modify according to personal. The comment in an earlier review, about not being Unix compatible, should not scare any of you away...at least give it a try!!! -I can only say, that my webhotel is Unix with Apache webserver, and I have absolutely no problem running this guestbook :)

  This Guestbook-Script is not Unix compatible. The scripts were written with a Windows editor. Unix has problems with reading the scripts. Windows has no problems with the scripts and can run the guestbook.

  Fairly easy to setup. The use of PHP-My-Admin helps in configuring MySql for the guestbook to work. Only a few minor changes were needed to set it up on Sun-Cobalt RaQ4i. Simple form for people to post. Could use a graphical interface for the smiles, the manual insertion can cause some non computer people to get a bit confused. Overall look is nice, allows for customization of look if you know the codes. A basic editor is provided to change them. If it had the Easy Smile Clicks for users, it would be worth paying for the script.

  Excellent script. Just take a look at the working demo on their site if you have any doubts about the script. It's very customizable as well, which is a huge plus. Great work.

  I have just finished installing the guestbook on my local machine with Apache server and I am absolutely impressed! I have virtually no experience in either PHP nor mySQL (installed those today as well!), yet I had the guestbook working in less than 10 minutes. Congratulations on both a perfect guest book and a installation program/admin interface - nothing on the Net beats it! Thanks!
