Description:
MereImage 1.0 will allow you to add a web image search to your website. It uses Google Image Search as a reference and then requests images from the source-sites the image originates from. Features include configurable number of search results. Using Previous and Next options. AUTOCOMPLETE is turned off. This script was made using "safe mode". If you wish to include adult content in your search results simply edit the script. A must have image search script to drive traffic to your site. The images are pulled from the image owners website directly and made into cache files.
MereImage 1.0 uses the GD library to create thumbnails from images (GIF, PNG or JPEG) on the fly. The output size is configurable (can be larger or smaller than the source), and the source may be the entire image or only a portion of the original image. True color and re-sampling is used if GD v2.0+ is available, otherwise low-color and simple resizing is used. GIFs are supported on all versions of GD even if GD does not have native GIF support.. The cache feature reduces server load.
This script should work with PHP v4.0.6+, but seems to have a few quirks before v4.1.0. Works fine with GD v1.x, but works better with GD v2.0+
NO database is required. Platforms supported: Unix/Linux/Windows.
