Looks pretty good, but i have problems with setup (SAFE MODE) and extracting files (with setup.php). I have tried 2 isp and same problem.

Excellent script! BUT, when you install, make sure you FTP the DAT file in binary mode, all others in TEXT mode.
This script is a BIG thumbs up, especially for someone wanting a simple, text based index (no MySQL or other database needed!)to host all their favorite links, or, to create a Yahoo! type index.
The only thing missing is search capability, otherwise it rocks! :)
Being a text based index though, gives way to back up simplicity! Just FTP the whole directory to your PC!

This looked promising, but they should have stated that it will not run in safe mode. According to my web host, most all web hosts run PHP in safe mode so please check this before downloading.

The script installed easily on IIS. The support from the author via email or forums has been excellent. The script has a great look by default but is also fully customizable, and no PHP experience is really needed. Visitors create a simple account so they can add or update links, and you have full control to approve any new or modified links through a very easy to use admin control panel. Some of the features I especially like are the auto-email notifications, valid links & duplicate links checking, ability to add links to multiple categories, unlimited sub-categories, and MySQL database backup/download. There is an online visitor and admin demo you can try, check it out!
