Excellent solution for adding WYSIWYG text editing for a content manager. The paste from Word function is especially helpful. Very easy to customize and very easy to get up and running. Adequate documentation and support forums. Better price to functionality ratio than similar products. Only downside is that it's somewhat limited on browser support. Most notably does not support Safari for MacOS X. Solid support for IE on Windows and Mozilla/Firefox on both Windows and OS X.

I am impressed by its ability to conform to the XHTML standard, the ease of editor customization, and all for a modest price. I recommend wysiwygPro to anyone looking for an HTML editor.

Chris has done an excellent job creating this tool. He makes frequent updates and listens to feature requests. The tool was easy to customize and his code is very clean and easy to read. I highly recommend this product.

It took me about an hour to read the manual and integrate WYSIWYGPro. I found the software very easy and stable. It is also quite customizable. I recommend this to anyone who knows a good product when they see it!

Product works fairly well. However, service is worst I have ever seen. Does not reply to emails at all. Visits forum only occassionally and removes your post without notice. After buying second product and asking simple questions and no reply, I requested a refund. No reply and no refund. If you are looking for support with your product, look elsewhere.

Excellent script! It had all the desired functionality for my site where I am using WordPress as the CMS. (I am using the WordPress Plugin for the editor.) Tables, images, alignment, and everything else, all right on the toolbar. And the code is valid XHTML. It was really easy to install, and simple to configure through options right in WP. No need to edit config files or anything like that, the plugin just worked. By the way, I got great technical support. Worth the price for the plugin!!

Seems to work very well. Some examples in the instructions are confusing but can be worked around. Appears to be the best of the commercial products in terms of cost:benefit.

Programming is not my background, I discovered WysiwygPro while trying to find a better editor for MAMBO open source CMS. I inquired to the WysiwygPro support staff (excellent response) and found they had made a module to just self install using MAMBO admin. Well! It worked smoothly and is a great product. Is well worth the affordable price.
Great power & flexibility to display the message you want to the website visitor and an acceptable price.

I've tried several WYSIWYG editors within the Joomla / Mambo CMS's. All were buggy. WYSIWYG Pro is the best out there that I've tried.

It's not very common of me to buy any kind of software from the internet; I usually do the things I need by my own.
But this product fulfilled all my needs, at a very fair price.
The team seems to be very professional, and the component is very well written and documented.
There's also a special care in order to keep you updated with what's happening with the product development, and to answer your questions.
I liked it; if I needed so, I'd buy it again.

wysiwygpro is by far the best html editor for JOOMLA! period. All others (and I have used them all) fail to be a complete package without errors somewhere. wysiwygpro support is great as well. IT is worth the price. I include it in all my joomla installs.

I wanted an editor that was quick to open, easy to use with a few more little functions to make life easier - wysiwygPRO did all that. In the front end it doesn't take all day to open and has a clean, pleasant interface for my users!

I have been using WysiwygPro on the development of my Joomla! site, as I was frustrated that the structure of Joomla! was forcing my own brochure-site into looking more like a web portal. I have broken out of this mould with the help of WysiwygPro by being able to integrate XHTML seamlessly into my content items. This gives me the flexibility and functionality of the CMS, but the appearance and code of a custom built site. Oh yeah, and it is a third of the price of the next best option!

This is a great add-on for any CMS, in my case I integrated this into my Joomla! powered site and it made article creation and submission 10 times easier. The time I have saved crafting the HTML for these entries alone has paid for the purchase price for this module. Highly recommended.

I have a Mac (latest and biggest) and use Firefox. WYSIWYGPro works very well. It is just like using MS Word and doing it well. Good value for money.
This is not true for Safari as WYSIWYGPro will not work at all, just this silly message, “This editor requires Internet Explorer 5.0+, Netscape 7.1+, Mozilla 1.4+, or an equivalent Gecko based browser. A regular textarea will be displayed instead.”
Could this be fixed soon?

This is the first product we have seen that works exactly as it is described. It's completely flexible, their support is fantastic, and the product itself is amazingly powerful, integrates with other CMS packages, and is simply perfect.
We spent two years going through other inferior products loaded with bugs. WysiwygPro is hands-down a work of perfection. I highly suggest this product if you want something that works instantly, is totaly adjustable, and has NO bugs.

WysiwygPro is an excellent plugin that can be used with a number of content management systems such as Mambo and Wordpress. It allows for full editing of content within webpages such as adding tables, images, text layout and even supports CSS. Setup also extremely easy once loaded into the CMS system. I thoroughly recommend this product to anybody using supported content management system and also its great value too.

I have been looking for a wysiwyg for a CMS we are developing. After many months of search we finally found the right one. No javascript, no ASP ...no-nonsense, simple a wysiwyg that works as advertised. Easy to install, simeless interface with other software, and most of all excellent technical support.

Uses Wysiwyg Pro for my WordPress based news blog network (14 titles as of today). The best Wysiwyg Editor I've tried so far. Very few glitches and even fewer real bugs. The only thing I cant get to work properly are snippets which seems to mess up other parts of the php code in WP. But we can easily live without those.

We've upgraded two weeks ago to the latest wysiwygpro version 3. In one word it is a great piece of skill, far way the best editor available. Easy to plug it in for your needs and the support is great. They are fast and helpfull. So it is worth the money ;)

I have been using WysiwygPro (v2 and now v3) am am very happy to have spent so small amount of money for such a good product. I have a Mac Tower and 30" monitor and use WysiwygPro for local web development and well as maintaining a professional website. I have had no problems with Safari, nor Firefox, nor any graphics. I would highly recommend it to others. BVisser

I've tested many editors for Joomla CMS but nothing compares to WysiwygPro 3.0.1!!
Yes, .1 is a huge update to the core feature list which includes relative links within Joomla. The editor has great versatility and preforms all the standard function needed for simple content management, or advanced scripting..
3.0.1 is a version we have all waited along time for and i'm proud to say that the WysiwygPro team has really come through with this release.
Congratulations on a great product!

We have been using version 2, for the last few years, on our web projects. Just this month we upgrade to version 3.0 and found it an easy and welcome upgrade.
Very clean code and a walk in the park to integrate.

The recent release, version 3.02 at the time of this writing, is much improved upon over version 2. I specifically use the application within Joomla and can say this version is a long time coming and glad to have it. Version 2 was way better than Joomla's default editor, but now version 3 is even easier.

If you are looking for an editor with all the bells & whistles than look no further! I tried ALL the editors out there to use on my Mambo website and WYSIWYGPRO beat them all in ease of install, use, functionality and user preferences.

We've tried a ton of these, from the several open source ones to commercial ones and they all had something that couldn't be overcome. Our biggest problem was the code that some of these things kicked out was just not up to par and many non-standard, even when they claimed to be. This product offers a robust API on an already incredibly solid platform to begin with. There are a ton of these out there, and this one is the best I've seen and is reasonably priced to boot. Highly Recommended.

I been using this script for several weeks and I can tell is the best WYSIWYG for my Joomla and WordPress sites. I´m waiting for a Drupal version.

Looked at a lot of wysiwyg editors for websites/browsers, and WysiwygPro was by far the easiest to implement, and just worked as expected. Tech support on minor nits we've found has been good.

This may be a good program but the support is lousy. I bought the program and have not been able to use it. I sent a support ticket in 3 weeks ago and have had no response. I asked for a refund and no response. Buyer Beware!

The latest release of the wysiwygPro editor seems to remind me of pretty much anything that at once was good.
It doesn't work anymore with pre-built scripts that already modify the header at the time of form submission. The support to fix this is non existent in turn doesn't really serve as an upgrade.
Unless you consider and upgrade, something that functions less.

There are a number of shortcomings that make me regret buying this script to use with Drupal. Firstly, it does not work consistently in Firefox - often the fields to enter data are unusable and I need to use IE to enter anything. Secondly, it does not have the ability to upload/add images and remove them. I would only buy or use this script again as a last resort.

I have used several free products on a couple of sites I developed. While I could navigate their occassional quirckyness, I needed a text editor that anyone could use, as the content submitter for one sight needed something simple and accurate, without having to learn a new software. WYSIWYGPro is just whet I needed and is heads above any of the free products. Well worth the cost for my paying customers.
