I use the author's original PHP Link directory on about half my Linux-based sites. The newest iteration, NewsTopica, is the next logical upgrade, the ability to add legal content to each page (as people/search engines value pages with content a lot more than just links). I've tested NewsTopica and it's solid (I've sent minor feedback). I'll be rolling it out to other sites soon.
What I like most about this tool? It's part of a living, evolving family of tools that responds to feedback.

I had this script up and running within minutes. It is simple to use and virtually bug free. If you want a piece of software to aggregates RSS feeds on-line in a searchable database then this script is for you. The author supports it well and there is a large community of users. This script is a real gem.
