I-Load Ajax Wysiwyg image upload crop and resize   Hits: 5969

I-Load is an ASP.NET web control (1.1 and 2.0 compatible) which basically: - Allows the final user to upload images which must respect all the constraints of width, heigth, aspect ratio, file size and format that you need. - Can automatically generate resized images (sometimes many) from the original uploaded image to serve various needs (preview, zoom, icons, thumbnails, etc). The component is cross-browser and does not require any client side software download. I-Load is an ASP.NET control uniquely composed of 100% managed code - no server installation required.

I-Load works with ASP.NET 2.0 too!, Nov 20, 2005 Reviewed By: BoSKAratto
Review Of: I-Load Ajax Wysiwyg image upload crop and resize in ASP.NET :: File Manipulation
The new version of ASP.NET 2.0 differs from the previous version, especially in its improved security features. This means I-Load will be handled in a different way with ASP.NET 2.0. In the new version, the web application automatically restarts when it realizes there was a directory deleted. I-Load uses temporary folders to archive the just-uploaded images. So, when the images are automatically removed by the component, ASP.NET 2.0 restarts the web application.

Using I-Load with ASP.NET 2.0 and MS VS 2005, Nov 21, 2005 Reviewed By: BoSKAratto

The new version of ASP.NET 2.0 differs from the previous version as the web application automatically restarts when it realizes there was a directory deleted. I-Load uses temporary folders to archive the just-uploaded images. So, when the images are automatically removed by the component, ASP.NET 2.0 restarts the web application. To handle this problem,set-up I-Load in such a way as to store the images in a secondary website,so that the normal deleting of files does not cause the restarting
