I installed at first the free version, and it worked great... the support via forums was very fast and clear. Then, i bought the pro version...This script has everything you need to start a professional links directory. If you want to spend a lot of money and less features, go to another script. This script is ( or will be ), the number ONE.

When I first discovered this script I thought I would just find another links directory. But the others were always lacking some feature I wanted. I gave the free version a try and played around it. It was what I'd been looking for. And I've tried many. But the ProVersion has many great extra features. The developer is always updating the script, adding more new features that users suggest. Support is top notch, with a friendly active forum. Easy install. Give it a try. Thanks Simon and team.

I reviewed many scripts out there and demod the front and back ends of them. I found this one and it is the best one I have ever come across. It has everything you need for a professional layout and more. Easy to install as well. I think more people should consider a move to it. I know that there is one real popular one that started out as free and is now paid that does not offer as much bang for the buck.

I have been using the paid script for some months. It gives you good first look, but its buggy nature appears soon. The support was good at first, but it now suddenly degenerated into rusty craps. Those guys seemed to have lost interest in developing the script or fulfill their promises. Upgrading is painful and buggy. I have to reinstall the whole thing and manually enter all links into database. Look at their forum for complaints! If you want a script for personal use, it's fun. It'll ruin biz!

Free upgrade! - it's one of the bonuses we have on our site. If you can not make it yourself you just ask us to make it for you. For Free of course. We never lost our interest to any customer and what's also important in developing the software. I do also think the best way is to look at our forums.

(This is regarding the new v1.2)
Well, looks great on the outside but get a few hundred links and it slows to a crawl. Big mistake on my part to purchase. Support has been poor. No solutions, just blame shifting to user's server.

Spent 149 USD to purchase unlimited licence. But later found it's so full of problems (messy upgrade), pageRank doesn't work, no user-defined image upload on details page. they promised these so I bought. But got cheated. They didn't release 1.2 on time. And we got a new beta version with a beautiful skin. Promised free support is nothing there. They simply ignore their customers. I have to look at other scripts now. Bye Esyndicat! Forever!

Actually if you follow the instructions on upgrade you do not have any problems at all with it. eSyndiCat is a constantly improving software and I would not call a new version 'beta'.
We never promise anything we are not able to make. New version was released 3 days later. Do not you think 3 days is a fair price for additional testing not to have bugs later? I do think it is. Guy, please check the support forums. Everyday you can see about 100 posts from our support team. I reply to 30-40 email

Hi
I have been looking for a software to build a directory of local businesses. When I found esyndicat I became just happy. It's worth every dollar I paid. At first support was not so good but later guys explained they were making changes on their site(new design, forums engine upgrade) and now support came back to excellent. I do advise everyone to check this wonderful software. Lots of features, and what's the most important - how easy it can be customized.

I dont agree with the above reviews. This script is full of bugs. Hard to customise.They have only forum support. I would not recommend them. Their is no contact information on their site. Lot of anonymous stuff.

Hi, thanks of course for 5 stars rating. Even the previous version has very few bugs. We constantly improve our software and there are very very very few bugs. You can even check free version. Hmm, hard to customize - yeah, I think you are right if you do not know computers at all. The script is really easy to customize for a non professional person also. "They have only forum support" + ticket system+live support + emails. :) "no contact information on their site" - just check our contact page.

This script seems cool on the surface, but it doesn't take much to understand the real face of it.Support(!) is until you begin to have major problems.Prepare to hear these 3 sentences: 1)Problem is on your server(oh,sure!) 2) Every script has bugs(but not that much!) 3)Reinstall it (yeah I was born to reinstall this every 2 weeks!). People on support(!) forum are rude, childish and anonymous.And yes, if you criticize something about the script in forums it will simply be deleted.What a shame!!!!

What a funny thing! We never deleted a single post. If you check the support forums you will be amazed by a number of posts. None of them are unanswered :)
It really makes me wonder how you did not notice that. So many bugs, etc. Hey, our software is used on more than 3000 sites and if there are few bugs they are fixed either in a new version, or in patches within the shortest terms. Your review more looks like a negative opinion of our competitors. Play fair game, guys.

I tried several free directory scripts as well as phpLD 2.x and 3.x before learning about eSyndicat Pro (initially version 1.2, now using 2.01 - and one price gets you lifetime upgrades!). This script is unsurpassed for features and support. It delivers everything it promises and the support for importing from other software, configuration, or even quite minor issues is simply superb. I highly recommend this script.

I spent weeks searching for a directory script to use on my site. I was willing to pay for a commercial script as long as it delivers. I've seen a lot of positive reviews for esyndicate, i played around on the demo and visited other sites that uses the software, and I felt it was exactly what i needed. I even considered purchasing the unlimited license. I saw the negative reviews, but i saw more positves. But all the problems I am running into now is exactly what the negative reviews warned us.

I've been using this product for awhile and it keeps getting better and better. You'd be hard pressed to find a better product for the price. Customer service is very good and the admins are active on the forums everyday. Updates on the script are done often and features are constantly added. There was a issue with PageRank not working for the listings for most users, but other than that, a excellent script.

There are over 100 different bugs reported on the Pro support forums for the latest release of this product. Some bug reports have not been responded to at all since they were made, more than 2 months ago. This is not a product I would trust to run a directory site for my business, especially when my customers pay for listings and positioning. Plus, the templates are next-to-impossible to figure out when trying to customize the look of your site, so everyone's sites look the same. Not good.
