   Absolute Floating Menu   Hits: 11172

Floating menu that follows user scrolling. Just create an absolutely-positioned DIV block with menu in it and leave the rest to the script, which will ensure that the menu will return to the specified browser window corner when the user scrolls the page. Javascript turned off just means the menu will stay in its initial place.

JTricks' floating menu is a very clean and functional script, May 18, 2007 Reviewed By: a_knight
Review Of: Absolute Floating Menu in JavaScript :: Navigation :: Menus
Recently I was marking-up large blocks of text ill-suited for being broken into multiple pages, and need a floating menu enabling in page navigation. I tried many scripts, and tried coding my own. Nothing came close to this. It does not throw any errors/warnings, nor leak memory noticeably. It's a true div, workable for more than menus. Easy to implement, 3k in size, and degrades cleanly to an absolutely positioned div. Outstanding!
