This is a really nice script and works flawlessly. It was also easy to install. I had this up and running in no time at all and I've had no problems with it and is very easy to modify and configure with your own graphics for the different seasons and holidays. I highly recommend it and full credits to the author of this fine script, thumbs up!

This is an excellent program. It was easy to install despite my lack of knowledge about PHP or MySQL (?). It was easy to customize the look of the pages and easy to add more cards. The instructions were very clear on each of the templates.
Out of the 5 programs I tried, this was the best. It's up on my website under E-Cards, feel free to visit. :)

new to sendcard but already loving the features on it! was a breeze to setup the help file was easy to follow as well the link back to the site helped cuz you can test sendcard at the author's site to see if it is going to be what you need as well to see other people who have used it in his link section. as well the reason i decided to go with this one over the others i saw for ecard sending is that the programmer of sendcard is very helpful in the forums to answer any questions you might have about send card-which is a plus and two thumbs up from me ^__^

I don't know why, but i had a lot of problems installing postcards systems in my websites. Sendcard is really easy to set up. If you don't want the hassle of installing a perl script you want this program. After you create a database the next thing is going to the admin page, and there is a wizard to set up things! To customize you have to alter some templates (mainly html), so in less than an hour you can have a fully customized postcard program in your site. I installed it at http://jaime.com.mx/sendcard/

I was looking for an eCard system to integrate with a catlog that has over 400 images. After looking at all of the PHP-based eCard systems I finally settled on Sendcard because it allowed me to use my existing images without any extra work.
The installation and database setup was simple and straight forward. Modifying the templates was easy, although a less experienced user would probably appreciate a little more explanation on how to modify them.
Overall the program works as advertised and the templates will make it easy to integrate with other sites in the future.

This was a great script. The only thing that would be nice is if it were easy to add and delete the images for the postcards. Not bad at all for functions. I am glad that I found this!

no further. Sendcard is all you need. Even if you have no experience with
PHP, you'll be customizing your site in minutes. If you're a PHP neophyte
like me, just turn to the support forums, where you'll find a wealth of
knowledge passed on by Peter and the multitudes of people using sendcard out
there. Special thanks to Peter for his quick response and unending patience
with us all.
Our website needed an E-Card software that could deliver audio content,
including Windows Media and Quicktime formats. A few simple copy-and-pastes
later, we were bringing streaming content to our card recipients. If you
need support for audio content like this, search the forum. I posted the
code for all. :^) Even Flash movies and animations are a breeze. I also
highly recommend the ImageUploader plugin, which allows your visitors to
create a personalized E-Card from their own image.

I have been using Sendcard for two years watching it develop and use it with a large cutural ecard site without problem. Yes, if you want to customise it does need a little knowledge of PHP but it can be used from the 'box' with very little customization. There's a nifty little addon that allows visitors to add their own pictures. I know of many dozens of people who use it, although the actual user base runs into hundreds. Download, install it and take a look you'll be pleased you did.

SendCard installed easily with no glitches. I spent a short time (maybe 2 hrs.) customizing the templates with my own background, adding about a dozen emoticons, and an equal number of midis. The couple of questions that I did have I posted in the support forum. They were attended to promptly, and I wasn't treated like an idiot.
I was so impressed with the free program that I added (for a nominal fee) the "Address Book" to my postcard site. I highly recommend SendCard.

I really love the script. It's just the right size and heft for a medium-sized site. On one hand there's plenty of sophistication (flash and audio are added effortlessly; the admin tool is very slick) and on the other, the script's not so complicated that you can't tinker to your heart's content. I got it to do *exactly* what I wanted, because the script is organized and streamlined enough to mess with.
I'll install this one without question on any future e-card-using sites.

Sendcard does exactly what I needed it to do. Out of twenty programs it was the only one which actually worked with my hosting service. Flexible enough to allow for me to make the changes I required with little knowledge of PHP. I would recommend to others looking for an add-o for their site.
