PowerPhlogger is a complete counter hosting tool. It lets you offer counter service to others from your site. Your members don't need any PHP-support on their webserver. They just pass the required data through JavaScript to PowerPhlogger that is hosted on your server. It supports IP-check with timeout, show online-users, visitor-paths, download-count, multi-page count, email-notification, admin-mode to create/del users, request new password, visitors per day, search-function and mailinglist.

I stumbled onto Power Phlogger when I was looking for a counter I could manage myself for my own websites about a year ago. I wasn't happy with being forced to carry ads for others or with just simple counters. I needed some statistics but hadn't found anything I liked.
At the time, I knew very little PHP. I tried the user interface first and found it to be simple to use and setup as well as easy to read. It is much more intuitive than many of the other interfaces out there. The admin interface is just as easy and the setup is easy enough that I could handle it with almost no PHP experience.
The issues I've experienced have been minimal. The problems were not in the code but usually a database or DNS issue. The development team actively supports the product and is at work on a new version, continuing to improve the functionality.
Power Phlogger is simple, easy to setup, easy to use with active support from the development team. What more could you ask for?

Let me start by saying I'm a statistics JUNKIE! Unfortunately I'm cheap and not a programmer, so I'm not going to buy a stats program or build one myself. I also am not going to install something that is going to take me hours to figure out how to configure / install and use.
I'm glad to say I found POWER PHLOGGER and have been using it for about a year. It was VERY easy to install and config / setup was a breeze.
It isn't a full blown statistics package, but it fills in all the gaps that AWstats is missing, especially user's paths, current users online, etc. etc. etc.
It would be great to see the script developed into even more statistic splendor with more tools / stats, etc. but I still love it and it does exactly what I wanted it to do without having to scan log files or install a monster application.
