I was recently checking hotscripts.com for a new forum to install and use on my site which is under development. I came across this little item called XMB.
I had a chat with the author over AIM, and was very impressed with how this forum is.
This is a good forum which i've downloaded and am editing at this very moment.
A worthy download.

XMB looks to be an extremely good forum. Not only is it fast, but it is gaining new features every day. XMB has a clean code and is user freindly, while some other forums are slow due to mulitple changes in the mysql structure. XMB looks very promising and impressive.

I've used XMB on my site GOTMASHED.com and have had no trouble with it at all. My board has several thousand posts now and is working great, far better than UBB.
Well written and easy to add and take bits. Also dead easy to install.

I have been using XMB for about three months now and i think it is the best free forum package avaliable. It has tones of great features and is coded in PHP and mySQL for speed.
I had a chat to some of the developers on AIM seem to be nice and listened to what i had to say..
So if you are looking for a feature packed, light weight, professional interface message board. XMB is the perfect choice for you!

After searching for weeks for a worthy BB for my site, I came across XMB. This board is EXTREMELY fast, and has nice features. My favorite part of the board, though, is it's simple yet good looking layout. In my opinion, better than any others boards I've seen (yes, even UBB, vB, etc.). Easy to install, a little buggy, but it's only in it's initial beta releases. Keep up the good work webfr43k!

version XMB 1.8 (Partagium Final) is easy to install, and it's fast and stable. the few bugs from 1.6 that i had encountered are all fixed.
just as important is the vast community of xmb users that have submitted countless 'hacks' for download (just search online for xmb hacks). with these hacks, even those with limited experience using html, php, and mysql can modify and customize their message boards beyond what the developers had originally intended.

does not work
can't get it to install no matter what i do
it gets 4 tables set up then wont create the forums table
