This script lets you view a magnified portion of any image upon moving your mouse over it. A magnifying glass appears alongside the image displaying the magnified area on demand. The user can toggle the zoom level by using the mousewheel. It's great to use on product images, photos, or other images with lots of details you want users to be able to get into on command.

SexySlider is a JQuery plugin that lets you easily create powerful javascript Sliders with very nice transition effects.

You can put any type of content you want, even flash. It uses Prototype to work across browsers and Scriptaculous to acomplish the effects.

You can put as many items as you want. An item consists of an image, a label and a link. If you want you can override the link text to all or to just one or two items.

I am using the JQuery Simple Controls Gallery from Drive DHTML (dynamic html) & JavaScript code library . One of the requirements is to read the images information from a XML file. After spending some time researching for it, I found the article Reading XML with jQuery. I have put together these two findings and include a brief explanation to it. DWB Image Gallery is a Dreamweaver extension that allows to generate image galleries just with a few clicks. This image gallery allows users to add a large number of pictures without worrying that they will occupy the whole site. You can associate with each image a title, the name of its creator, and if you want, you can associate a description as well. The images are inserted into the gallery once the webpage is fully loaded, which avoids delays in the webpage loading process.

s-box.js functions just like Lightbox does. The script is 12 kb (min) and it uses jQuery and SimpleModal plugin. There're some additional features which you might find useful. 1) Next and previous preview thumbnails show up when the cursor is moved on arrow images in modal. 2) You can place your personal logo in modal. You will see my office's logo in the demo. Please replace the png image with yours.
