Dear Hot Scripts Members

It's that time of year again when everyone ponders what to expect in the next year. Bloggers all over the Web have been compiling their lists of predictions on the evolving digital landscape. Mashable's founder, Pete Cashmore, made a list of 10 Web trends to watch next year, which so far seem to be in line of my expectations.

Most of Pete's themes are related to mobile devices such as real-time content growing in demand, the need for better mobile payment, location-aware applications and augmented reality. We've already been seeing a growing usage of mobile to consumer content on the Web, but this is expected to rise even higher as more smartphones, NetBooks and the rumored Apple Table are rolled out in 2010. The cloud computing movement is also expected to take a major leap next year while more enterprises will be opting for open source applications. 2010 will certainly be one of the most vibrant and booming periods for the Web.
