Description: Item counts on this page seem to be off. For example if you look under "Web Developers" Category, the count states that there are "6" Items under this category. However if you actually count the number of items in that category physically, you will see that there are actually "15" items! I didn't check any other categories, but its possible that the rest are off also.
There inconsistent, As you said the count is off, if you look in Books, it says there are 20 but there are really only 19. Some of them are less and some of them are more. There must be a flaw in their database or the program is wrong.
A cronjob used to keep them in sync. Apparently it's not running, is broke, or they changed something in the codebase somewhere and this now isn't being handled correctly.
